Course Description

Our Manual Handling Train the Trainer course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to train others in house to safely carry out manual handling tasks in the workplace. Manual handling refers to any activity that involves lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects by hand or by bodily force.

This three day course covers the following key components:

  3. 3. Principles of Manual Handling  and Complying with Health and Safety Regulations

Who should attend?

Anyone who is required to effectively train in house employees who are involved in lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects as part of their job duties, to learn proper techniques and minimise the risk of injury and improve the overall safety culture within their organisations

Certification

Delegates will be awarded a First Class Safety certificate of attendance on successful completion of assessment. It is recommended that this be refreshed after 3 years.
