Course Description

Our Spill Response Training Course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively and safely respond to spills of hazardous materials or substances in various settings, such as industrial facilities, laboratories, or transportation environments. The key components covered in this course include:

  1. Applicable Legislation
  2. Impact of Pollution Incidents on Business and the Environment
  3. Environmental Risk and Pollution Prevention
  4. Risk Reduction
  5. Emergency Response and the Role of the Spill Responder
  6. Materials and Equipment Requirements
  7. Spill Response Procedure

This course includes classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises and can be bespoke to your business.

Who should attend?

Anyone who may be involved in or responsible for managing spills of hazardous materials in the workplace or other settings should attend a spill response training course to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively to incidents and protect human health, safety, and the environment.

Certification

Delegates will be awarded a in-house certificate of attendance on successful completion of assessment.

It is recommended that this be refreshed annually.
